Indirect Program
The mode is a new initiative of Sanchar InfoTech run under the CAL program that allows affordable private schools and government schools to provide low-cost computer instruction to their students.
Sanchar InfoTech is implements & operates in 120 centres in 2 states for the program. More than 70% of these centres are in affordable private schools. These schools charge their students fees of Rs. 50/month to use the computer; a price parents consider affordable to gain computer literacy.
Need for the program:

- More than 87% of the schools in India do not have computers (as per Union HRD Ministry)
- We have just 16 computers per 1000 children
- On average, 5-10 children share a single PC
