Prem Yadav Program Director Prem being a co-founder of Sanchar, he joined Pratham in 1991 and was a part of the core team that laid the foundations on which the organization has been built. Having worked as the Chief accountant for Pratham, in 1998, Prem helped set up 15 computer labs in the municipal school of different wards of Mumbai, with the help of ICICI bank.

The initiative as called Sanchar InfoTech, which was co-founded by him with his team today reaches 1.73 lacs children from disadvantaged sections of society in 400 schools across 08 states of India.Having been earned a B.A. degree in Sociology from Pune,Prem Yadav did his Master of Resource Mobilization & Management from S. P. Jain Institute of Management, Mumbai. Besides contributing to many educational publications, especially on Computer related learning, he has been the Area Coordinator, CORO (Committee of Resource Organization for Literacy), Treasurer, Suvidha Co-operative, which was set up to operate the Integrated Waste Management Project; and is currently the Director of CAL & IT Training Program and a Trustee at Pratham InfoTech Foundation.

Smita Sarvankar Program Manager, Content Development & Training Smita is a Commerce degree holder from Mumbai University, who had a strong opinion for educating the disadvantaged children of the society with a vision of providing quality to the education, for which she moved herself to join the education brigade, as an Primary Education Coordinator, to support the third grade students by providing

classroom assistance with reading & math assignments in 1998. Later, she continued to pursue her dream by working as a Sancharak (Computer Instructor) in a secondary school, simultaneously was also a training program coordinator.
Shortly she was designated to be a part of the Content Development core team, due to her skills in writing. Smita, currently is the Program Manager for the Content Development & Training Cell at Sanchar, wherein she, along with her team develops a centralized curriculum for the CAL Program.

Balaji Kamble Program Head, Sanchar Software Development Balaji has been the Program Head in Sanchar for the Software division since 2000 and also serves as a Technical Consultant for Pratham since the last 2 years. Prior to that, he was responsible to hold a number of management and technical support roles in Sanchar?s various departments for analysis.

He did his B.Sc. in PCM group from Swami Ramanand teerth Marathwada University, Nanded (SRTMU) and has 9 years experience in project management, software development, database designing, report designing and software analysis.In addition to it, he has an experience in writing proposals and business cases for IT (software) initiatives.

Bhushan Gavand Program Manager, Sanchar Software Development Bhushan has been the Program Manager with Sanchar?s Software division since 2005 and has served as a Technical Consultant for Pratham for the last 2 years. Previously, he held a few management and technical support roles in Sanchar for various departments and its analysis.

He completed his B.Sc. in Computer Science from Mumbai University and has an experience in Reliance Infocom under the CSR section and possesses 2 years of experience in software development, database designing, report designing and project management, software analysis with Sanchar. In addition, he also has knowledge of proposal designing and business cases for IT (Software) initiatives.

Rajesh Dange Program Manager, Sanchar PC Solutions Rajesh joined Sanchar in 1999 and started off as a Translator for the curriculum books being developed. Later, after 2001, he coupled with the Content Development Cell where he held the responsibilities of a Stock In-charge for 15 BMC schools & was shortly responsible for huge projects undertaken in Maharashtra as a Stock Manager

along with his fellow teammates. In 2006, Rajesh joined a newly setup IT Solutions company ?Sanchar PC Solutions? and was solely responsible for the regular maintenance of hardware & other stocks & worked as a Service Coordinator for the company. Currently, he works as a Program Manager, where his program has successfully reached around 18 districts of Maharashtra & aims to rank his program at the stage of best service provider in the field of IT Solutions.
